Worship Together — Contemporary Worship and Timeless Hymns

One Body, Many Expressions

ONE Church does not believe worship has to belong to one generation or one musical style. A new worship song can speak powerfully today, and a hymn sung for generations can still carry deep truth.

Our worship approach will intentionally make room for both contemporary worship and historic hymns, always keeping the focus on Jesus Christ rather than musical preference.

A Starter Mix

Timeless hymns might include Amazing Grace, It Is Well with My Soul, Blessed Assurance, and Holy, Holy, Holy. Contemporary worship can include songs centred on the character of God, the cross, grace, surrender, and the lordship of Jesus.

The Test

Before style, ask: Is it biblically faithful? Does it point people toward God rather than performance? Can the Body sing it together? Does it help us remember truth?
